On Wednesday, November 7th, ABC Stone and LUXE Interiors + Design held a panel discussion and cocktail party in honor of the grand opening of ABC’s NYC flagship Experience Center. The engaging discussion focused on how to push stone usage to the edge and utilize the material in truly awe-inspiring ways. Panelists and intrepid designers Keith Baltimore, Jenny Kirschner, Carol Kurth, and Piera Ruvolo were on hand to share their knowledge and inspiration and the President of ASID NY Metro chapter, designer Kim Radovich, served as moderator.
Kim Radovich – ASID NY Metro President
Kim Radovich has a mission: to restore integrity to design. Trained at Parsons School of Design, her work has appeared in national publications including Architectural Digest and Better Homes and Gardens. Kim sits on the board of The Family Service League, a social services agency based in Long Island.
CAROL KURTH, FAIA, ASID – Principal, Carol Kurth Architecture + Interiors
Carol Kurth’s designs draw inspiration from nature and the built environment. A popular keynote speaker, she is sought after for her insights into architecture, design, sustainability, and trends. She has won numerous awards, and has been featured in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others.
Keith Baltimore – Principal, Baltimore Design Group
Keith Baltimore’s design philosophy is to study his clients for an holistic understanding of what they want. A winner of the Best of Houzz Award, his work features often in Traditional Home, NY Cottages & Gardens and other publications. He supports numerous non-profit organizations and grants an annual arts and design scholarship.
Jenny Dina Kirschner – Principal, JDK Interiors
Jenny Kirschner holds BFA, MA, and Associate Degrees in multiple areas of art, design and art education. She has a reputation as a fearless, innovative designer who mingles various aesthetics to create unobvious, bespoke interiors. She and her work have featured in Architectural Digest, New York Magazine, and on NBC’s Open House New York.
Piera Ruvolo – Senior A + D Sales Representative, ABC Stone
As an architect in her native Italy, Piera Ruvolo explored the myriad materials used to create spaces. And natural stone is by far her favorite. She takes great pride in helping to source the perfect stone for any application, and now shares her skills and passion with the design capital of the world, New York City.
